Care & Quality Support Officer

BCOP Head Office, Kings Norton, B30 3FH

You will be supporting the Head of Care & Quality, by providing mentorship support to the General Managers, Care Managers and Administrators within the nursing homes, in order to promote and develop the homes’ performance in the vital areas of: quality assurance systems, care and care documentation, use of Management systems (IT) and efficient and effective budget control across all responsible areas.

21 hours a week, over 3 days

6 month fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension

Travel allowance

Must be able to travel to multiple sites

£36,000 FTE (actual salary pro rata £21,600)

Tenant Support Officer

Edgcumbe Court, Bartley Green, B32 4DP

Your role will be responsible for providing support, advice and direction to tenants, enabling them to  create a mutually sustainable environment for themselves, and support independent living; to undertake administration and management tasks relating to the housing scheme and ensure the maintenance of the building in line with BCOP policies and procedures.

Care Assistant (Days)

You will be responsible for providing care, including personal care, for residents, helping them at mealtimes, encouraging and enabling them to take part in activities.  You must be a caring, self-motivated team-player, a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working with older people in a care environment is desirable but not essential.

36 hours per week (8am – 8pm Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£8.38 – £8.50  per hour (dependent on qualification) plus enhancements for working weekends and bank holidays

Care Assistant (Nights)

33 hours per week (8pm – 8am Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£8.38 – £8.50  per hour (dependent on qualification) plus enhancements for working weekends and bank holidays

Registered General Nurse – (Night and Day vacancies available )

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people?  Neville Williams House is renowned for its homely atmosphere, as well as its caring and person-centered approach to care.  Reporting to the Care Manager, amongst other duties, you will be responsible for writing care plans for residents, monitoring their condition and administering medication as well as supervising and overseeing training of more junior/unqualified staff.

22 hours per week (8pm – 8am Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

36 hours per week (8am – 8pm Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£16.19 per hour plus enhancements for working bank holidays and weekends and reimbursement of pin renewal)
