Care Assistant (Days)

We’re looking for a daytime Care Assistant for Anita Stone Court, our bright and modern care home in Moseley. You will be responsible for providing care, including personal care, for residents, helping them at mealtimes, encouraging and enabling them to take part in activities.  You must be a caring, self-motivated team-player, a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working with older people in a care environment is desirable but not essential.

36 hours per week (8am – 8pm Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£8.38 – £8.50  per hour (dependent on qualification) plus enhancements for working weekends and bank holidays

Lead Activities Coordinator

Are you enthusiastic about enriching the lives of older people?  As a Lead Activities Coordinator at Anita Stone Court, our bright and modern care home in Moseley, you will take the lead in devising, organising and supporting residents to take part in a range of leisure and social activities, taking into account residents’ personal interests and capabilities.  You’ll also be keen to build and maintain links between residents, the care home and the local community.  A good communicator, you’ll be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative and sensitive to the needs of residents. Previous experience of working with older people in a care environment is desirable but not essential.

36 hours per week (8am – 4pm Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£9.81 per hour plus enhancements for working weekends and bank holidays

Neville Williams House, Selly Park, B29 7PP

Activities Coordinator

Are you enthusiastic about enriching the lives of older people?  As an Activities Coordinator at Neville Williams House, you will help to devise, organise and support residents to take part in a range of leisure and social activities, taking into account residents’ personal interests and capabilities.  You’ll be supported by the Lead Activities Coordinator and work closely with the other staff in the care home.  A good communicator, you’ll be self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative and sensitive to the needs of residents. Previous experience of working with older people in a care environment is desirable but not essential.

30 hours per week (Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£8.63 per hour plus enhancements for working bank holidays and weekends

Registered General Nurse (Nights)

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of older people?  Neville Williams House is renowned for its homely atmosphere, as well as its caring and person-centred approach to care.  Reporting to the Care Manager, amongst other duties, you will be responsible for writing care plans for residents, monitoring their condition and administering medication as well as supervising and overseeing training of more junior/unqualified staff.

24 hours per week (8pm – 8am Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£16.19 per hour plus enhancements for working bank holidays and weekends and reimbursement of pin renewal)

Robert Harvey House, Handsworth Wood, B20 1AD

Care Assistant (Days)

As a night Care Assistant for Robert Harvey House, our long-established, well-respected care home in Handsworth Wood, you will be responsible for providing care, including personal care, for residents, helping them at mealtimes, encouraging and enabling them to take part in activities.  You must be a caring, self-motivated team-player, a good communicator, able to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working with older people in a care environment is desirable but not essential.

33 hours per week (8pm – 8am Monday – Sunday on a rota basis)

£8.38 – £8.50  per hour (dependent on qualification) plus enhancements for working weekends and bank holidays
