Welcoming back visitors to our nursing homes

In line with government guidance, all three of our care homes are now able to accept visitors - please contact the relevant nursing home to find out which type of visit they are currently able to offer.

We are looking to recruit volunteers to help scale up and support testing capacity within our three care homes in the city.

We conduct routine PCR and Lateral Flow Device (LFD) testing in our homes. As a volunteer you will play a critical role helping with the regular testing of residents, external visitors and staff, ensuring we reduce viral risk in our care homes, and freeing up staff time to focus on caring for residents.

Resident-Room Visiting Suspended due to Tier 4 Restrictions

Following the announcement on 30th December that Birmingham is to come under Tier 4 Restrictions, unfortunately we have had to suspend the roll-out of resident-room visits for now.  Pod visits, closed window visits and video calls will still be possible.
