We are looking to recruit volunteers to help scale up and support testing capacity within our three care homes in the city.

We conduct routine PCR and Lateral Flow Device (LFD) testing in our homes. As a volunteer you will play a critical role helping with the regular testing of residents, external visitors and staff, ensuring we reduce viral risk in our care homes, and freeing up staff time to focus on caring for residents.

If you’re great with people, have a friendly and approachable manner and want to play your part in helping to keep care homes safer, then this is the role for you.

To Apply: Email your CV to Emma Ashton, Workforce Development Manager, at emma.ashton@bcop.org.uk

If you too are committed to bettering the lives of older people you can help BCOP by assisting us at any of our schemes or helping out at our events.

To help find the role that best fits each volunteer we ask people to speak to a staff member about how they would and could utilise their ability and desire with assisting us to achieve more. We admire your passion and ensure that it is used correctly in something which you will excel.

Many of our volunteering roles involve contact with vulnerable older people so references and checks are required as a legal requirement and under our own safeguarding practices.

Regardless of your skills and ability, if you would like to get involved we would love to hear from you.
